Human–Machine Collaboration in Textile Weaving: Designing Interactive Fabrication in Loom-Based Craft.

My research, Human–Machine Collaboration in Textile Weaving, explores how interactive fabrication systems can support loom-based craft without replacing human skill. By integrating sensing, physical computing, and adaptive digital guidance into weaving processes, I investigate how machines can respond to embodied craft actions in real time. This work contributes to human-centered design by preserving material knowledge while expanding creative possibilities. In the long term, I aim to pursue an academic and research career at the intersection of craft, technology, and interaction design, developing inclusive, culturally sensitive tools that support creative practice, education, and well-being through human–machine interaction.
