My research focuses on promoting the nursing home (NH) disaster preparedness.
There has been an increase in severe natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons. Since NH residents are especially vulnerable to these events, promoting NH disaster preparedness is an urgent issue. My research consists of two parts. First, a literature review is currently performed to build hypotheses of how NH disaster preparedness is promoted. Secondly, mixed methods will be conducted to test and refine the hypotheses.
My career prospect is to work for a research institution and continue research on intervention development that could promote NH disaster preparedness.
