地域参加における知的障害者のモチベーション要因の再統合 Integrating Motivational Factors within Community Scope for People with Intellectual Disability
I engaged in collaborative work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, ranging from those with mild levels who are employed to those with more significant cognitive challenges within community settings. My efforts have focused on leveraging emerging technologies and exploring their potential to generate broader social impact for individuals with cognitive limitations.

Lucas is a cross-disciplinary media design researcher, investigating Ecological Encounters and how multispecies interactivities can lead to critical design with focus on media devices and toy design. As PhD funded by KEIO-SPRING, Lucas is focusing on design innovation based on human made disasters and ecological preserved areas (e.g. Minamata and Koshiki Island, Japan), developing novel approaches on how to connect nature, history and contemporary human development.

The Limits of Face-Type Recognition: Human Agreement, Subjectivity, and Beauty AI
My research examines the limits of perceptual classification in beauty-related AI by integrating empirical modeling, systematic review, and human-agreement measurement. Through this work, I aim to develop evaluation frameworks that account for perceptual variability rather than assuming fixed ground truth. In the future, I plan to pursue a research-oriented career in industry, particularly in AI product development or applied research. I hope to contribute to the design of responsible, evidence-based AI systems that engage with socially constructed concepts such as beauty and identity.

行動変容が困難な対象者への効果的な生活習慣病予防・改善に向けた支援モデルの開発
生活習慣は長期間にわたり形成されたものであり、その改善には相応の期間が必要になる場合が多く、一時的に改善に至っても再び元の生活に戻ってしまう事がしばしばみられる。変わりたくても変われない者に対しての科学的なエビデンスを創出し、行動変容につながる保健指導モデルの形成とその長期的な効果検証を行うことで、生活習慣病予防や行動変容に関する研究の発展に寄与していきたい。また、欧米における公衆衛生看護師教育を参考とし、特に公的に認められておらずその職務も企業によって多様性がある産業保健師の卒前教育を体系化や、卒後の実践者のリフレクションの機会の提供や効果的な支援技術の実践事例の収集を行う仕組みをつくることで、産業保健師の質の向上を行える体制を整えたいと考える。このように卒前・卒後の環境を整え、実践者が高いモチベーションを保ちながら活動できるようサポートすることを通じて、国民の疾病の予防や健康寿命の増進に貢献していきたいと考える。
